From Mad Cosmos, in Fantagraphic's B&W run of Usagi Yojimbo, #35 and #36. Lionheart, no stranger to monsters and aliens himself, interviews a variety of fringe groups and conspiracy theorists, eventually becoming the target of their paranoia himself. The story is a personal favorite and reflects my real perspective on the world of conspiracies, UFOs, and Evil Forces That Control Our Destinies. People wonder how I can watch and read and write fantasy yet not believe in flying saucers, Leprechauns, the Illuminati and Bigfoot. The final line of this 16 pager is pretty much my motto:

A little paranoia can be good for you, as long as you don't take it too seriously.

Yup, I slipped my hometown of Erie, Pa. into the script. It could explain a LOT about Erie and it's curious residents, myself included...
